All the goodness in one cup! This tonic is a nice mix of ayurvedic herbs, spices and adaptogenic mushrooms.
We love using ashwagandha in our drinks, it is literally the best adaptogenic herb that promotes rest and relaxation. Also we’re obsessed with Reishi mushroom. It not only helps to enhance the immune system, reduce stress and improve sleep, but it also smells amazing!
Other ingredients are nutmeg, cinnamon, bananas, cardamom, flaxseeds, almond milk or oat milk. Sounds yummy, right? These ingredients are super for grounding and giving a little heaviness to the body so it’s ready to fall asleep. They contain four sleep-promoting compounds: tryptophan, magnesium, potassium and calcium.
We make this cozy, warm drink pretty often to wind down, de-stress, relax and promote deep sleep.
1,5-2 cups of almond/oat milk
1 tsp of ashvagandha
1 tsp of reishi powder
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of cardamom
1/2 tsp of nutmeg
1 tsp of flaxseeds, optional
Lightly heat the almond milk until warm and set aside.
Transfer all the remaining ingredients to a blender, and then add the milk. Blend it up.
And then you just need to pour the tonic into your favorite mug and enjoy!
